Physician Assistant

Daniel Miller, PA-C

Daniel started off his medical career first while learning about anatomy and kinesiology in his undergraduate studies.  He graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Saginaw State Valley State University in Michigan in 1996.  His primary work after that included neurorehabilitation with post-stroke and traumatic brain injury patients, orthopedic post-operative care following surgery, hand therapy, behavioral health, and home health for housebound patients.

After scrubbing in and observing a total knee replacement surgery, Daniel was inspired and motivated to further advance his studies.  He obtained his Master’s of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Glendale in 2010.  He then worked for a busy hand and plastic surgery practice which involved being on call at most of the major Phoenix-area hospital networks.  His next job was for a large orthopedic surgery group, assisting in spinal surgery and working with interventional pain management specialists.  This experience provided a strong background to his current role at Pain Stop, where he has worked since 2016.  Daniel values working with an interdisciplinary team and providing compassionate care to his patients.
